Of home runs and care packages.

Today I readied our very first care packages for Shane. and discovered that
It wasn't long before I had 4 boxes
It was a big job getting these puppies into the post office.  We packed them TIGHT and HEAVY!
After sending Shane's packages, we rushed home.
We couldn't miss our
appointment on the ball field.  No.
Grandma, Grandpa, Wanessa, and Bea all came to our house for some pizza, salad, and ball.  After dinner, they all went on ahead to the school, while I stayed back to put away the leftovers.  When I arrived, Nevan was ready for action.
Pretty soon, he was
After Wanessa hit a fabulous ball that earned her second base, and Nevan third,
Mayzie was up to bat.

There was a lot of excitement on the ball field, but that wasn't the only  place to have fun.  While the big kids and Grandpa
  played a little hit-n-run,

After everyone had worked their appetite back up, we all headed home for the perfect ending:  peanut butter pie!

Mayzie is an action shot waiting to happen, I love how photogenic she is! Candy packs well for sure, hope the chocolate doesn't melt!

Oh, I'm sure it will melt. It shipped from PHX, after all... but Shane is having withdrawls. I don't think he'll care if it's melted and resolidified. ;)

I will not show these pictures to Parker. He will be so sad that it wasn't us on the diamond. Looks like so much fun!
